We are creating positive impact for municipalities. The Borough of South River wanted to establish a reliable energy source that was optimized for price stability. Salas O’Brien provided design services for the 10MW/15MWh system which provides nearly 50 percent of peak power needs for South River’s 16,000 residents. HCA recently recognized and praised ICT’s hurricane response effort after hurricane Milton hit one of their hospitals in Largo, Florida. ICT was ready for the call from HCA as Milton was approaching Florida. Milton hit Largo Hospital and flooded the central energy plant (CEP) on the ground floor of the hospital. Along with the CEP, the kitchen, MDF and surgery sterile processing department (SPD) were on the ground floor and were also destroyed. Over the next couple months, ICT played a pivotal role in getting the hospital systems and it’s critical services back online. Including condensing a typical 6 – 7 month design effort down to only a few weeks for a powerhouse, kitchen and SPD. HCA Healthcare
