📣 NEW STORY ALERT! 📣 “The students who have been involved with IACMI projects will have a ripple effect in #manufacturing for decades to come.” That’s Vanderbilt University professor Doug Adams, talking about the exponential impact from IACMI’s #internship program from 2016 - 2020. We agree and have six great stories to back up IACMI's #impact in #Workforce #Development. If you're a company looking to snatch up talent, Brayden Aller is looking for his next career opportunity. So, if you’re hiring an engineer specialized in but not exclusive to spacecraft, you heard it here first. 👇 Read The Ripple Effect now: https://lnkd.in/eVGn5Gp4 Featured: Brayden Aller, Darren Foster, Jessica Lavorata, Trenton Bullman, Kylie Van Aken, William Henken Thanks to: Stephen Nolet, Johnathan Goodsell, R. Experience the energy and enthusiasm at #JECWorld2025 through the eyes of Uday Vaidya! Thank you, Uday! We appreciate your insights and engaging storytelling through video. #CompositesInnovation #SustainableManufacturing #IndustryCollaboration #BrightFuture
JEC 2025 - Reflections from the Greatest composites show on earth Each year we try to capture the essence of this marvelous show held in Paris around this time of the year, and JEC 2025 more than delivered. As always it was impossible to cover the show in three days. The video (7.34 minutes duration) attempts to capture 'What I saw at JEC 2025’ with the disclaimer that this only represents what I could cover in a few hours. Stéphanie Pencole, U.S. Embassy in France and Trade Assistant at U.S. Commercial Service was gracious in supporting the U.S. Pavilion at JEC. IACMI – The Composites Institute had its booth there. It was great to see all the stakeholders, international colleagues & experts and the composites industry as a whole. JEC 2025 featured major advances in (a) Pressure Vessels & EVs; (b) Automotive body-in-white(s), making you wonder - shouldn't it be coined 'Body-in-black? :)- (with all the carbon fiber used); (c) Robotics & Automation in composites manufacturing, machining, testing/measurement and finishing; (d) industrial parts; (e) Drones & Aerospace; (f) Sustainability as a recurring theme; (f) Hybrids of all kinds - intermediates, multi-materials, multi-processes; and (g) Whole day of SAMPE talks at the Agora in partnership with JEC. We appreciate you viewing the video and please do advise if you saw something that got missed here. Thank you, Stéphanie Pencole, Chad Duty, Dale Brosius, Alyssa P., Raymond Boeman, Merlin Theodore, Daniel Coughlin, Krishnan Veluswamy, Ph.D., for being there and supporting IACMI – The Composites Institute. IACMI teamed up with the United States Manufacturing Innovation Council this week in Washington, DC, to meet with congressional staff, including JT Isaacs in Sen. Bill Hagerty's office, to share how we're securing the future of American manufacturing. As one of 18 Institutes in the Manufacturing USA network, #IACMI is driving economic growth, strengthening domestic supply chains, and preparing the workforce with next-generation skills—all critical to U.S. competitiveness and national security. A lot of interest in the national success of our workforce programs — from IACMI interns to online and hands-on training in composites, metals, and casting & forging like America's Cutting Edge (ACE) and METAL for America. Empowerment. That was the consensus when Marcy Offner asked a panel of female leaders and innovators in the composites community about their experiences with mentorship at the Trailblazers in Composites panel at #JECWorld2025. Whether you have one mentor or many, they can provide valuable insights and experiences to help propel your career forward. Interested in becoming a mentor or finding one? Reach out to SAMPE, the American Composites Manufacturers Association or Women in the Composites Industry to learn more about their mentorship programs. #CompositeWomen #TrailblazersinComposites #CompositeInnovation
