IP X @MobileLoaves 🥖🐟 Last month, our team headed over to Community First! Village for our monthly volunteer day and we all left with our hearts full. Idea Peddlers helped set up some of the mobile homes in the village to make them ready for move-in. We grabbed screwdrivers and put our teamwork skills to good use in a community that focuses on serving goodness. We toured the 51 acre village that houses over 370 formerly homeless neighbors and saw how intentional every little detail was. Designed to encourage community, each home has a front porch and easy access to common areas such as laundry rooms, restroom and shower facilities, outdoor community kitchens and green space. Neighbors also have access to recreational areas where they can explore their artistic side or put their green thumb to the test!
