Imperium3 is proud to announce that it has received UN38.3 Certification for its 53Ah Lithium-Ion battery cell, designed and manufactured in New York, utilizing @C4V’s state of the art BM-LMP technology.    UN38.3 refers to Section 38.3 of Part 3 of the “United Nations Manual of Tests and Standards for the Transport of Dangerous Goods” which require lithium batteries to tested to ensure their safety during transit.   This certification represents an important commercialization milestone of our battery cells, and will better position Imperium3 to produce battery cells for shipment to those customers with pre-production purchase contracts for final qualification testing, as well as to potential customers that require sample cells for evaluation prior to engaging in contract discussions.     We want to thank all of our employees and stakeholders for working with Imperium3 to get to this key milestone in the commercialization of our prismatic battery cells!  #iM3NY #C4V

A lot of exciting activity on the iM3NY floor these days! To meet the ever growing demand for US-developed and US-manufactured prismatic cells, the iM3NY team has been hard at work since last October commissioning brand-new cathode and anode coating lines that will add an additional 1 GWh/year of capacity to the Endicott facility. We expect to perform site acceptance testing in the next several weeks, upgrading our existing facility with new state of the art equipment, a key step in our journey to become one of the top manufacturers of lithium-ion battery cells in the United States.
