  • Introducing Deneb, a powerhouse hydrocarbon engine designed for unmatched performance. Deneb's ox-rich staged combustion cycle combined with a high area ratio expansion nozzle will deliver 15,000 pounds of thrust — setting it up to be one of the highest-performing liquid oxygen/liquid methane engines ever flown, per its creator, Thomas Mueller. Designed for reliability and manufactured with a lean, scalable approach, Deneb is built with our proprietary, in-house components, from precision valves to advanced turbomachinery. Impulse is now nearing the first test of our development engine. This engine will power Helios, our solution for delivering payloads from LEO to GEO in under a day — no more waiting months with electric propulsion. Pair Helios with a low-cost LEO launch, and you’ve got the fastest, most economical way to reach high-energy orbits and the inner solar system.

  • Last week, Impulse CEO Thomas Mueller sat down with science journalist Sarah Cruddas at SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition to discuss the future of in-space transportation. The conversation explored Impulse’s rapid progress and the critical role of in-space infrastructure. Mueller also highlighted how refueling and resource utilization will drive the next phase of the space economy. With launch providers making access to LEO easier than ever, the next challenge is efficient mobility beyond it — and Impulse is leading that charge. Thank you to SATELLITE 2025 for the platform and to everyone who joined the discussion. The space age is unfolding now, and we're building the transportation to power it. #SATShow #SpaceTech #Satellite2025 #ImpulseSpace

  • Meet Maurice Rojas, CNC Programmer at Impulse Space. From programming and setting up CNC machines to optimizing performance and enhancing shop floor efficiency, Maurice plays a critical role in shaping the future of in-space transportation. 🚀 We sat down with Maurice to learn more about his journey, his proudest moments, and his advice for aspiring CNC programmers. Here’s what he shared: ➡️ Q: What does a typical day look like for you as a CNC Programmer at Impulse Space? 💬 Maurice: My days involve geeking out over programming, setting up CNC machines, verifying and testing programs, and continually optimizing their performance. I also actively contribute to team problem-solving and seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality throughout the shop floor. ➡️ Q: What's your most memorable moment from your time so far at Impulse? 💬 Maurice: The final machining of our Deneb engine assembly will always be a highlight for me. Knowing it was a one-shot deal and considering the immense dedication and effort that went into this project — the pressure was on. But to be trusted by our leaders and the entire team with that responsibility? It meant the world. It felt as if the hard work, late nights, and challenges I'd overcome throughout my career — it all led to that moment. It was a true privilege. ➡️ Q: What advice would you give to someone considering a career in CNC programming, especially in the aerospace industry? 💬 Maurice: Go for it! If there’s an opportunity, snatch it. You’ll only grow from the experience. 🔧 Want to work alongside skilled engineers like Maurice and help shape the future of space exploration? • Two burns. One orbit apart. 🔥   Mira completed two burns just a single orbit apart — a first for the vehicle. This rapid turnaround boosts flexibility, allowing multiple orbital adjustments to fit into minutes or hours, depending on burn magnitudes.   Precision and responsiveness: that’s how we deliver mission success. 🛰️🚀 ➡️ Learn more about the LEO Express-2 mission: https://lnkd.in/gzXmVcuk   #LEOExpress2

  • Impulse Space recently welcomed General John W. "Jay" Raymond — the first Chief of Space Operations for the United States Space Force and our newest board member — for an exclusive fireside chat with CEO Thomas Mueller. 🔥 Gen. Raymond shared his perspective on the rapidly evolving space domain, the growing need for maneuverability in orbit, and how commercial innovation is driving the future of national security. He highlighted the critical role of Impulse's highly maneuverable space vehicles, Mira and Helios, as key enablers for sustained space maneuver and tactically responsive space missions. With Gen. Raymond’s expertise, we’re strengthening our position at the intersection of commercial and government space operations, ensuring the U.S. stays ahead in the next era of space mobility. 🚀 #ImpulseSpace
