About us
The Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation, commonly known as IndyGo, operates the public transit system for the City of Indianapolis, Indiana. IndyGo operates 30 fixed routes with about 2,708 stops throughout Indianapolis. The system carries approximately five million passengers each year. While IndyGo service is focused on Marion County, certain IndyGo fixed routes extend south of the city into Johnson County. Commuter Express routes are also available on a demonstration basis.

IndyGo has issued the following RFP for a Fiscal Sustainability Study Project: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC),dba IndyGo RFP 24-07-503 IndyGo Fiscal Sustainability Study Project Summary: IPTC needs to ensure its internal operations respond to changes in ridership and, correspondingly, changing revenue levels. Therefore, IPTC is seeking support in improving the efficiency and accountability of its functions, while at the same time improving the agency’s ability to deliver efficient and sustainable service for the next 20 years and beyond.
