    As we continue celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re thrilled to introduce three more of our outstanding Hispanic team members: Josie Garcia, Audrey Alajmi, and Gladys Brea. Josie emigrated from Cuba to Miami in hopes of a brighter future. She considers herself an "Influencer Whisperer," known for cultivating strong relationships with managers and influencers that shine through her work. Outside of work, she enjoys taking fitness classes and traveling. As a first-generation Mexican American, Audrey was raised to work hard and lean on her community. Here at Influential, she works behind the scenes to keep everything SOC 2 compliant, ensuring secure operations. In her free time, Audrey loves riding her motorcycle. Gladys’s work superpower is strategic thinking; she is always focused on big-picture solutions. During her time outside of work, she enjoys DIY projects, exploring new places with her husband, and deepening her connection to her Puerto Rican and Dominican roots through cooking traditional dishes like pernil and pollo guisado. #Influential #HispanicHeritageMonth2024 #HHM

    In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Influential is excited to spotlight  three of our incredible Hispanic employees: Salvador Yanez-Ruiz, Dayra Cerda, and Alexis Fernandez. Celebrated from September 15th to October 15th, #HHM is a time to recognize and honor the rich cultural contributions and diverse experiences of the Hispanic community within our company and beyond. Here’s a little bit about each of them: As a Campaign Manager, Salvador excels at creative problem solving and staying adaptable to ensure smooth content development in a fast-paced environment. Outside of work, he loves to travel, explore new foods, enjoy live music, and spend time outdoors, all while proudly embracing his Mexican-American heritage and serving as our Hispanic ERG Leader. Identifying as Dominican and Puerto Rican and serving as an Associate on our Creator Partnerships team, Dayra is a true jack-of-all-trades, always eager to master whatever comes her way. Outside of work, she enjoys podcasting with her partner on LGBTQ+ topics, sharing insights, and sparking conversations. Alexis is a first-generation Cuban American who is outspoken and confident in taking risks and betting on herself. She’s a Specialist on our Campaign Management team, but outside of work, she enjoys exploring NYC, creating content, doing pilates, and spending time with her dog.     To my working parents, this post will likely resonate with you most, but I hope it touches just a few more across my network, and that you take a beat and quick minute to read. This is my first type of such post, but here goes: As the second full week of school is almost at a close, I reflect. Families and kids are getting back into their groove. Back to School Night follows next week. And the board of EDU candidates are a campaigning, planting their signs on nearby lawns - and for the first time, my lawn is included. Because for the first time, these names are not just those of strangers, but those of parents, friends, and neighbors looking to make a difference in our school, communities and in the lives our kids. I cringed when my small NJ town announced there would be full time cops on guard at every school, starting with kids’ classes aged 3. But it’s a must today. To feel more protected, to know our kids are safe. Sadly though, there’s still so much more to be done, and back to school now triggers a ton of fear, as evidenced by recent events this past September 4th. When The Sandy Hook Promise approached myself and Influential to help support their campaign message, it was a no-brainer. The organization was started by families affected by Sandy Hook, which absolutely saddens my heart. Through their educational efforts and in-school curriculum, they have been able to successfully prevent several school shootings. Their goal is to bring their “Know the Warning Signs” curriculum, free of charge, to as many schools and communities as possible. They’ve asked us all to reflect on “MY WHY”. If mine isn’t obvious enough, it’s for my love of people; for all the kids; for the families of anyone ever impacted; for the communities; and for humanity. I’ve always believed that what you give you get. So this is my small contribution to such an important cause. Text MYWHY to 79775 to receive the warning signs.
