This past weekend, the InSite BUILD team and their families joined together for fellowship and festivities at the Westside Fire Department’s annual crab feast. The crab feast serves as a fundraiser for the Jack Morris Memorial Foundation, in honor of our team member Caroline’s brother. Project Delivered: Propane Fuel Conversion • Owner: Eastern Correctional Institute (ECI) • Location: Westover, Maryland • Schedule: July 2023 - September 2024 Last month, the InSite BUILD team completed the installation of the new natural gas piping to ECI’s Annex and MCE correctional facilities, bringing closure to this $4.3M campus mechanical upgrade. InSite worked underneath Joseph M. Zimmer, Inc. as their Construction Manager partner and directly oversaw all exterior aspects of this project, including over 7,500 lf of new directionally drilled HDPE gas piping. The team overcame challenges to ensure that gas was energized and equipment was commissioned in time for the commencement of heating season. Many thanks to our trade partners on this project - WD Pipeline, R&R Coatings, Reynolds Excavating and Harkins Concrete. Spotlight: Molly MacLaren, Project Coordinator Meet Molly, a dedicated professional with over 13 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout her career, Molly has touched both operations, preconstruction, and business development aspects of our industry. Her experience spans from managing subcontractor trades to estimating scopes of work for over 20 diverse projects, including hotels, data centers, airports, and higher education developments. Known for her organizational skills, Molly excels at streamlining documents and making information easily accessible to all necessary stakeholders. And on a personal note, she’s really fun to work with—because she believes life is meant to be enjoyed! Molly’s passion for the industry lies in witnessing a building take shape—“It is an awesome honor to be a part of a team manifesting something that started as just an idea actually becomes a reality that will influence and interact with so many different people in the future.” Outside of work, Molly is an avid nature lover and gardener.
