Happy Friday! As you go into the weekend, I have a call to action for my network: Please consider empowering one woman today by donating here: https://lnkd.in/ekrh7WKV "Women who inspire others and want to be inspired.” This statement is our vision for the Inspiring Women’s group within Inspire Leadership Network This vision tangibly came to life in February when I joined six CIOs on a transformative trip to Nicaragua with Convoy of Hope, where we witnessed the profound impact of women empowerment programs firsthand. Empowerment programs equip women with self-esteem, entrepreneurial skills, and seed capital to start their own businesses. These valuable skills allow them to sustain their families and support their children’s education, demonstrating to the next generation that they can achieve success and change their futures. Ultimately, these initiatives are changing lives, families, communities, countries, and the world! Some of the powerful stories we encountered include: ➡️ We met with a 19-year-old girl had given up on life. Through the women’s empowerment program, she now understands her worth, believes in her potential, and runs a successful online craft business. ➡️ We met with 16 female entrepreneurs who have started their own businesses and regularly meet with mentors through the empowerment program. These stories of strength and determination deeply moved us and inspired us to make a greater impact. As a result, we have committed to raising $309,000 for Convoy of Hope to continue their impactful work of empowering women worldwide. This number is significant. It represents the 309 women in the Inspire Leadership Network. Each woman in Nicaragua needs $1,000 to complete a full year of the empowerment program. Our goal is to support 309 women this year, enabling them to rewrite their stories in the same inspiring ways as those we highlighted above.
