This week our #EmployeeSpotlight shines on the one and only, Joey Beaher! Joey has been a dedicated Video/Photography Coordinator at Inter-State Studio for 16 years. "I've only had a couple of other jobs before coming to Inter-State, but I have to think the environment we have here is a rarity." He is thankful to be a part of a team that is built on respect, communication, and support. Joey and his wife have four children, a dog named Bella and a cat named Theo. On his free time, he likes playing guitar, songwriting and photography. He is involved in his church community and loves teaching the Bible. To Joey, sharing the power of a smile is about creating lasting memories. Meet Lorah Weesner, a Lead Photographer at Inter-State Studio! Over her seven years with ISS, Lorah has come to value the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. She especially appreciates how other territories are always ready to lend a hand and how Inter-State consistently goes the extra mile for their customers. Lorah extends her passion for photography beyond work by selling her own prints at a kiosk in a store called Painted Tree. She enjoys transforming her photos into unique items like bookmarks, postcards, water bottle stickers and magnets. This week our Employee Spotlight shines on Photography Supervisor, Ashley Arnold! With more than 10 years at Inter-State, she has loved the variety each day brings. The different subjects, schedules and scenery keep her on her toes! Ashley and her husband have been married for almost two years. Together they have three cats and a dog who keep them busy during their free time. When the weather is nice, they enjoy finding a peaceful spot by the water to relax or float. Sporting events in KC are her favorite pastime! He recently married his wife, Miriam, and they have a dog, Poppy, who was rescued from a local shelter as a puppy. Outside of Inter-State, Brandon enjoys fitness, traveling abroad, gardening, and creating photo prints for home decor. In her 13 years with ISS, she has made some wonderful friends that feel like family. A bonus is that she has the ability to work from home allowing her to be close to her parents. Outside of Inter-State, Candy dedicates her time at Recovery Lighthouse as the Pettis County Family Advocate and Certified Peer Specialist bringing hope to individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. Lisa has been capturing memories as a photographer with Inter-State Studio for six years. “What I love most is that we are not just seen as an employee, we are a family of photographers.” Outside of ISS, Lisa channels her creativity into art, painting landscapes and abstract works in her art studio at home or Plein Air painting outside. Family is very close to her heart, including her first grandson who was born in June.
