📢 Final Draft Technical Standards on Market Risk published: The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published final amendments to its Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on the fundamental review of the trading book (FRTB). The revisions mostly aim to align these RTS with the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR3) and ensure stability in the applicable regulatory framework. 🚨 BREAKING: Facundo Malaureille Peltzer & Daniel Monastersky filed a complaint with the Argentinian Data Protection Authority due to Meta's AI training practices. Important information: ➡ The complaint with the AAIP questions Meta's data protection practices, specifically regarding the use of personal information from its users to train its AI systems. According to one of the authors: “This complaint seeks to establish a legal precedent that will guide future regulations and practices in the field of AI and data protection in our country.” ➡ Argentina now joins the EU, Brazil, and Nigeria in actively questioning Meta's data practices.
