At this year's SMD Symposium, we introduced a new charity giveback Plinko game at the Intrepid booth highlighting Still Serving Veterans. Symposium attendees participated in the game throughout the week, and today, we were able to deliver the final "winnings" to SSV! Still Serving Veterans is a beloved nonprofit organization not only to us but to the entire community in North Alabama. They work hard to empower veterans and their families by connecting them to meaningful careers, benefits, and services. This summer, we had the privilege of hosting three exceptional summer interns at Intrepid! ⭐ Jasmine Picard, Business Development Intern Jasmine attends Troy University where she is majoring in Global Business with a Data Analytics concentration. She plans to graduate in December 2024. ⭐ Zach Messer, Business Solutions Intern Zach attends the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is majoring in Information Systems. He plans to graduate in December 2024. ⭐Coltan Atchley, Communications and Public Relations Intern Coltan attends the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and is pursuing a major in Communication with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising. He plans to graduate in May 2025. Each of these students made significant contributions in the workplace with a dedication to innovative solutions and approaches on the individual teams they supported. Intrepid is now hiring a Debt Management Specialist! The successful candidate will join our team supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD(HA)). Tasks will include: ✔️ Assisting with the patient debt management process. ✔️ Reviewing debt waiver requests, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is in place, and providing recommendations with debt relief requests. ✔️ Collaborating with organizations and insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies. ✔️ Maintaining detailed records of all patient interactions and account statuses. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field) and 1-3 years of experience. Intrepid is now hiring a Senior Linux Administrator! The successful candidate will join our team supporting the IFMC Program Office, AMD Mission Command Product Office. Within this position, support will be provided to the Tactical Innovation and Experimentation Lab for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems. The successful candidate will work directly with end customers to meet their needs while ensuring the performance and security of the computer system. This month, we’re spotlighting Nat Thompson, Business Development Analyst! Nat joined the Intrepid family nine months ago and has quickly become an integral part of our team at our corporate headquarters.   In his role, Nat is dedicated to identifying new opportunities for the company, maintaining our pipeline, attending industry events, and playing a key role in capture and proposal processes.   Nat's favorite part of working at Intrepid is the supportive, family-like atmosphere. “I love the opportunity to work with and learn from amazing people with unique skillsets and collaborating with our internal business development team on capture efforts,” he said.   When it comes to Intrepid events, his favorite is the Christmas party, which he looks forward to each year. Nat and his wife are eagerly expecting their first child, a baby girl, soon!   Nat, we’re grateful for your contributions to the team. Intrepid is now hiring an Acquisition/Operations Analyst! The successful candidate will join our team supporting the IFMC Project Office, AMD Mission Command Product Office, FAAD C2 Product. Within this position, expertise in acquisition and operations will provide insight into budget and obligation tracking of contractor financials, supporting program documentation and internal tasking activities. Tasks will include: ✔️Overseeing Prime Contractor financials and providing opinions/insights on data to customer ✔️Supporting reviews of program documentation, contract documentation, and other relevant items ✔️Collating and preparing FAAD C2 significant events for reporting to Project Office.
