As commander, he is responsible for six squadrons and eight detachments, enabling command and control operations for 11 Combatant Commands. DEL 6 provides combat ready forces to operate and maintain the Satellite Control Network and conduct defensive cyber operations for unique space mission networks. Their Guardians, civilians and contractors provide global space access to enable spacecraft command and control, space launch, and orbital operations. On July 26, 2023, the House Oversight Committee held a historic public hearing on UFOs/UAP, featuring compelling testimonies from former U.S. intelligence officer David Grusch and seasoned Navy pilots David Fravor and Ryan Graves. Under oath, they affirmed the reality of UFOs/UAP, detailing first-hand encounters and inside knowledge. Their accounts significantly bolstered the credibility of the UFO/UAP topic, urging increased government transparency and further investigation into Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. David Grusch's testimony also revealed the severe reprisals he and his colleagues faced for coming forward. He described how they were "brutally administratively attacked" and subjected to "administrative terrorism." These whistleblowers, who hold critical information about crash retrieval and reverse engineering programs, deserve protection. The New Paradigm Institute calls for immediate action to safeguard these brave individuals. Without enhanced protections, the forty-plus whistleblowers with first-hand knowledge will remain in the shadows.
