The successful candidate will join our team to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Deputy Director, Rapid Acquisition Prototyping and Project Office (RAPPO) and Deputy Director, Advanced Concepts and Critical Technologies (ACCT) Office. Intrepid proudly presented grants through its employee-led Ideal Community Fund to two nonprofit organizations yesterday! The WellHouse received a $10,000 donation from Intrepid, supporting their mission to rescue and restore female victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. This funding will aid in the upkeep and resources for The WellHouse child home, providing essential care and stability to girls from Alabama and Tennessee. North Alabama Zoological Society was granted $8,000 to fund scholarships for their “Be a Little Wild” Nature Camp. This initiative, led by passionate local volunteers, aims to educate children about Alabama’s biodiversity, ecosystems, and conservation through outdoor activities. The camp fosters awareness and appreciation of wildlife, nurturing future conservationists. Intrepid extends heartfelt gratitude to both of these organizations for their invaluable contributions to the community and their dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of many. The mission of the ICF is to advance philanthropic solutions to our community’s needs, by continuously striving to create the Intrepid vision of an “ideal” community which includes safety, opportunity, and care for all citizens. Participants of the ICF have selected the following three focus areas for 2024: Veteran Support Services, Children & Family Services, Food Banks/Pantries and Food Distribution. Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will represent Intrepid to the Navy through a strategic level process of identifying, qualifying, and creating new business opportunities and captures within the Navy, Marine Corps, and Joint Service operations. Our Employee Spotlight of the Month is Jackson Holmes, Product Owner for IBCS Software at Intrepid! In his role, Jackson oversees communication between the team and the customer, ensuring alignment on project goals and facilitating rapid responses to customer needs. His focus on Infrastructure, Services, and Libraries (ISL) plays a crucial role in developmental aspects of the project through bug finding and investigations into problem solving and process improvement, ultimately enhancing the Warfighter experience. Jackson has been a valuable member of the Intrepid family for the last six years, and in that time, his favorite part has been the support he has felt from every department across the company. “I’ve never felt isolated or like I couldn’t ask a question,” Jackson said. “I’ve worked at several sites, including primarily headquarters, during my time with the company. I truly feel like I can always come to Security, HR, or my manager at Intrepid, depending on the situation, and they would treat me as they would their own family.” Among his many accomplishments, he’s most proud of having been part of the main exhibit at the AUSA Symposium for the U.S. Army in Huntsville. During the symposium, he ran the Future Open Rotorcraft Cockpit Environment (FORCE) System. “The work we do day to day can be so important, and it was a great experience having the opportunity to share that work with others,” he said. Jackson’s favorite Intrepid event is the annual Christmas party, which he and his wife eagerly anticipate each year as a chance to connect with colleagues outside of work. In his free time, Jackson enjoys swimming for exercise and spending time outdoors hiking. He also cherishes his three dogs and cat, whose pampered lifestyle is lovingly overseen by his wife. Jackson exemplifies our core values at Intrepid, and we are privileged to have him as part of the Intrepid family!
