About us
Invested Faith is a fund for faith-based social innovators. We are focused on bridging social innovation with the resources of America’s religious institutions to invest in the well-being of our neighbors, rebuild communities, and do the work of the gospel in the world. The Invested Faith initiative will allow established religious institutions nearing the end of their life cycles to use their resources to support social entrepreneurs who are working to seek justice, build community, and directly change unjust systems. Meet our Fellow: In the spotlight this week is Beverly Jenkins, CEO of Refuge and Restoration NPO which this week celebrates the ribbon cutting for phase one of R&R Marketplace, a redevelopment project in the Dellwood neighborhood of Ferguson, MO. Repurposing a strip mall that has been abandoned for 20 years, the R&R team are creating an equitable access community hub that will include an early child development center, a bank, co-working space, as well as a church and needed community social service offices. https://lnkd.in/gK6htVwH
