Vaccines contribute to a form of active immunity by triggering the immune system to produce antibodies that can fight pathogens. Unfortunately, people who have impaired immune systems, such as the #immunocompromised, may not have an adequate immune response to vaccines. To protect this vulnerable population from circulating viral threats such as #COVID19, we are on a mission to deliver antibody-based therapies, which can support a form of passive immunity. Learn more about our work here: https://lnkd.in/euWWXjgm (Immunity can take many forms. The examples provided are for illustrative purposes only and not intended to be comprehensive.)
