The Environmental Services team at Isani Consultants had an incredible experience at the 2024 Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Environmental Conference in Corpus Christi earlier this month! The conference featured a wide array of insightful presentations on environmental regulations and updates, led by experts from TxDOT and various firms. Our own Angela McMurray, AICP, ENV SP, Director of Environmental and Public Engagement Services, was honored to join a panel discussion on “Delivering a TxDOT EIS/EA or Complex CE,” alongside other esteemed NEPA practitioners Casey Carlton, Samantha Champion, Sonya Hernandez and Tricia Bruck. Additionally, Angela and Sue Theiss delivered an engaging session titled “A NEPA Story: Clear and Consistent Technical Writing and Review Best Practices,” where they shared valuable insights on enhancing the NEPA narrative and optimizing technical review processes. We hope you stopped by our booth to enjoy our special chocolate chip cookies! Thank you for making the conference a memorable event! https://lnkd.in/esnfjcsh

This week, I had the opportunity to attend the TxDOT Environmental Conference in Corpus Christi. The event provided valuable updates on upcoming initiatives and recent environmental legislation. I also had the pleasure of connecting with several Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) currently serving as prime contractors or subcontractors. It was an insightful and productive experience! A big thank you to Michael Bryant Bryant for creating a space for DBEs to connect and network with TxDOT staff and industry partners.
