Over half a million Israeli-Americans live in the United States today. As a vital component of American society, they play a major role in social activism, academia, culture and innovation. The Israeli-American Council (IAC) is the largest Israeli-American organization in the Unites States, serving this vibrant sector of American society. IAC’s effectiveness and success is the direct result of its ability to organize, activate, and engage the Israeli-American community nationwide. The IAC strives to achieve these goals through programs and events for all ages, as well as by empowering and sponsoring a wide array of non-profit organizations within the Israeli-American community.

The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations (COP) is a name that doesn’t mean a lot to most Israeli-Americans. Here is why it does to me, and why I am so excited that IAC is the first organization in more than a decade to get in.

💡 Less than 50% of young Jews feel connected to Israel. 27% say they aren’t connected at all. You don’t need me to tell you that—you can read it yourself in the Pew report.
What you need to know is that there are people who wake up every day thinking about this and go to sleep worrying about it. People who don’t just talk about the problem—we take action. These are the people I stand with for the World Zionist Congress.
We’re already doing everything we can. But with YOUR help, we can do even more.
THIS MONDAY- Vote IAC Slate 22 and be part of the solution.

For the second year, the IAC was honored to join the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations' 50th annual Leadership Mission to Israel at a pivotal time in its history.
Our CEO, Elan Carr, joined top Jewish-American leaders in meetings with Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Herzog, Defense Minister Katz, and key Knesset committees. The delegation toured Israel’s northern border, visited Kibbutz Sasa and Nahal Oz, met with Druze leaders, and planted trees for Tu Bishvat—gaining firsthand insight into Israel’s challenges and resilience since October 7th.
IAC remains deeply committed to standing with Israel and strengthening the bond between Israeli and Jewish-American communities.

500 Days of Darkness 💔 🎗
Today marks 500 days since the devastating attacks of October 7, and 73 hostages remain in the hands of Hamas, held in unimaginable conditions. These are innocent men, women, and children whose only crime was being Israeli. Families continue to wait in agony, hoping for their loved ones' safe return.
We must continue to demand immediate action to release them home.
📢 Raise your voice. Share their stories. Keep the pressure on.

In response to Kanye West's recent promotion of apparel featuring hate symbols, the Israeli-American Council (IAC) has launched the "Hate Is Out of Fashion" campaign to promote Jewish pride and unity.
The campaign offers a $18 white T-shirt with a black Star of David, symbolizing life and resilience. The T-shirt represents "chai" (life) in Hebrew. All proceeds will support IAC's initiatives against antisemitism, including free online Holocaust education for public schools.
IAC CEO Elan Carr emphasizes that antisemitism threatens society's core values and underscores the importance of standing against hatred.

Supporting Israel: IAC’s Legacy of Mobilization 🇮🇱
For years, the Israeli-American Council (IAC) has been at the forefront of unwavering support for Israel, mobilizing our communities through Tzav 8 initiatives during critical times.
🔹 June 1, 2010 – Los Angeles Rally
In response to the Gaza flotilla raid, the IAC led a powerful demonstration in LA, standing with Israel and supporting the IDF’s right to defend its borders and citizens. As misinformation spread rapidly, we gathered in solidarity, ensuring the truth was heard loud and clear.
🔹 November 2012 – Operation Pillar of Defense
As rockets rained down on Israel from Gaza, the IDF launched Operation Pillar of Defense to protect Israeli civilians. Once again, the IAC took to the streets, organizing a rally that brought together thousands of voices in support of Israel’s right to self-defense.
We have stood firm for Israel from Los Angeles to cities across the U.S. Our rallies are not just events—they are powerful statements of unity, resilience, and unwavering support for Israel in times of crisis.
🇮🇱 18 Years of Standing Strong with Israel – We stood then. We stand now. We will always stand with Israel.

In 2007, the Israeli Leadership Club (ILC) was founded in Los Angeles to unite Israeli-Americans and support Israel during critical times. Today, as the IAC, we are a nationwide movement of resilience and connection. 💙
