Our first “secular” perpetual calendar recognizes the different lengths of the months and adds a leap day every four years, while also taking into account the Gregorian calendar’s complex leap year exceptions. Over a timespan of 400 years, it will skip three leap years that would normally occur at the end of a century. What's more, its moon phase display is so accurate that it will only deviate by one day in 45 MY.
