It is with tremendous sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Michael Turner, who served as a Superintendent in our Rhode Island office. Mike passed away on Saturday, October 26, leaving behind his beloved wife, children, friends, and many coworkers who cared deeply for him. 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. He was a devoted member of the Carpenters Local 326 and played a vital role in overseeing projects throughout the country. More than a valued team member, his impact on our team was profound, and his contributions will never be forgotten. Friend and colleague Quentin Thorson shared a heartfelt tribute that truly captures Mike’s spirit: “Mike was one of the greatest men I have ever met in my life. He was among the most positive, optimistic, honorable, and caring individuals I have known. He approached everything he did with the utmost professionalism and truly cared about those around him, always wanting the best for everyone. No matter the task, no matter how challenging, Mike was all in. Words cannot express enough how much he meant to everyone he encountered. He is truly irreplaceable.” To honor Mike’s memory and support his family, GoFundMe pages have been set up to help cover funeral expenses and provide for his family. Let’s come together to remember and honor Mike’s legacy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Our headquarters had a special visit from the La Crosse Youth Baseball team, who came bearing a heartfelt thank-you gift for the support our employees and our Brennan Gives Back committee provided this season. Their gratitude went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be prouder to have been part of such a worthy cause! Supporting our local community, especially younger generations, is something we’re honored to do. Here’s to many more seasons of teamwork and growth both on and off the field! 💙🙌 #BrennanGivesBack #CommunitySupport

Hands-on Learning 🛥 🌊 We formalized our partnership with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) in 2022, and this past week, we saw it in action! ⚓ Our team had the privilege of taking UWL students aboard the research vessel 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 for a hands-on lesson in multibeam hydrographic survey and its real-world applications at Brennan. Curious about how this partnership is making waves in education and marine technology? Dive deeper into our collaboration here: https://lnkd.in/gZ-p4Ne7 📸 Kaleb Schuster / J.F. We’re incredibly proud to have played a role in the reconstruction of Pier 1 at the Port of Davisville, thanks to Quonset Development Corporation. Projects like this are why we do what we do—making a lasting impact by upgrading infrastructure that serves communities for generations. 🚢 Yesterday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the reopening of Pier 1 South after 19 months of construction, where Brennan replaced more than 1,500 wooden pilings from the 1940s with new steel ones, giving this vital port an additional 50 years of service life. This milestone reminds us of the importance of our work, helping the Port support economic growth, new jobs, and crucial industries like offshore wind and auto imports. It’s an honor to be part of something so meaningful. #meaningfulwork 📸 Daniel Maggio / ©2024 J.F. Brennan Company, Inc. Alex Baittinger, Quentin Thorson, Nick Tanionos, Zach Pontzer

🚗 ✨ Cruisin’ in style for a great cause! We’re grateful to be part of an event that funds such an important cause, helping individuals overcome addiction and rebuild their lives. Brennan is proud to support the 5th Annual 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 with Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin. We had an unforgettable evening watching Hidden Figures from a sparkling red ’66 Ford Fairlane GT convertible, soaking in the powerful stories shared by clients and enjoying the choir’s beautiful performance. Please check out www.atcww.org to learn more about this incredible program! Thank you for capturing this fantastic event, Dianah Colburn. #BrennanGivesBack
