About us
Jeremiah’s Place, Pittsburgh’s only crisis nursery provides emergency care for children ages 0-6 for a few hours or a few days based on the needs of the family. Our primary focus at Jeremiah’s place is to keep children safe and to provide a safe and supportive solution for families in need. Jeremiah’s Place is conveniently located in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh and is staffed by trauma informed caregivers and socials workers. All services provided by Jeremiah’s Place a free, available 24 hours a day, and most importantly, judgment free. Jeremiah’s Place will protect children and strengthen families by providing a safe haven of respite, health, renewal, and support for children and families during times of crisis. We strive to serve as a leading voice for child abuse prevention thereby transforming the community into a place that is safe, stable, and loving for all children.

This past Saturday, June 22, Jeremiah’s Place participated in the annual Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. Our individual walkers, donors, and three teams, the JereBear Joggers, the Strong Family Strollers, and Kimmy’s Crew, raised $1,231. Jeremiah’s Place would like to thank all our participants this year. Your participation truly makes an impact on our organization and community.
