The Jetson ONE can ascend vertically at an impressive rate of 2000 feet per minute, even with a pilot weighing up to 210lbs (95kg). To compare, this climb rate is double that of a typical light helicopter and surpasses the speed of the ultra-fast elevator in Hong Kong's Two International Finance Center skyscraper! Designed with safety in mind: What happens if a motor stops working? This is probably the number one question we receive on our social channels. As with all advanced aircraft, the Jetson ONE undergoes continuous, rigorous testing to evaluate its performance across diverse flight scenarios. Check out how our team conducts critical assessments with one motor powered down. Watch top right motor closely. The remaining movement of the propellor is caused by the downwash suction created by the lower propellor. This test showcases the ONE’s ability to maintain controlled, asymmetrical flight by distributing power through its remaining seven motors. The answer to your question: Yes, the Jetson ONE can fly with one motor out. This event will trigger automatically warnings to the pilot and Auto-Land will be initiated. Test at 35ºC/95ºF ambient, MTOW at 210kg/463lbs +5%, empty (depleted) batteries, front top motor out, OGE hover = most challenging scenario. #JetsonONE #Jetson #eVTOL #Aviation #SportVehicles #PersonalFlight
