Last month, a group of non-Jewish leaders and influencers from Palm Beach County joined Federation’s Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred on a study tour, the third such trip since the program's launch earlier this year. Elected officials from West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, and the School Board, along with senior leaders from Palm Beach Atlantic University and the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, spent a week visiting sites of the October 7 attacks, speaking with families of hostages, and hearing from intelligence officials. Thanks to our Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred, these transformational study tours have rallied our allies to stand by the Jewish community and actively fight against antisemitism. Our Community Relations Committee met with our elected officials as they came home for summer recess. They discussed a range of critical issues with Sens. Rick Scott and Marco Rubio and Reps. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, Brian Mast and Lois Frankel, including security funding, addressing antisemitism and supporting aid to Israel. We thank our elected officials for their time and continued support of our community.
