A transformation of the Rhoades Science Center at Valley City State University brought this 40-year old classroom and laboratory building into the 21st century. 💫 This renovation project also doubled the square footage of the building and provides much-needed additional learning spaces.

Simulate to educate. 🩺 There is no better proof of the age-old adage that “practice makes perfect” than to see it in action in today’s academic collaborative learning environments, and the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences is a shining example. As North Dakota's only medical school, the four-level 375,000-square-foot facility incorporates high levels of technology integration into offices and classrooms and has brought together many separate departments that were located throughout the University of North Dakota campus.

We are kicking off the new school year by sharing a classroom renovation and indoor playground addition to Woodland Elementary School. Shenanigans Indoor Playground is the ideal place for all kids ages 1-10. It offers a series of parent/child activities devoted to the physical, emotional and social development of youth, while giving parents the satisfaction of a safe place for their kids to engage with other kids, slides, ladders, nets, mazes and imagination-inspiring play zones. The renovated indoor classrooms boast great daylighting and additional storage, giving teachers and students a healthier classroom environment.

Hearts & Hammers assists low-income homeowners with exterior improvements to keep Senior Citizens, Disabled Individuals, and Veterans (or surviving spouses) of the United States Armed Forces living independently in the homes they love. The ribbon has officially been cut at the new 77,000 SF Heart of America Medical Center (HAMC) in Rugby, ND! Designed to address the specific challenges of rural health, this facility is set to greatly enhance access to quality care for North Dakota. We love seeing progress! JLG is honored to work alongside Clay County Law Enforcement and JB Marie to provide a joint Police Department & Sheriff’s Offices on a new site in Vermillion, SD. After assessing their outdated and undersized facility and exploring cost-effective solutions that address size, age, condition, accessibility, and functionality, construction is well underway. The new consolidated facility will provide more convenient access, efficient functions, opportunities for future expansion, and long-term flexibility to effectively meet the needs of their growing community.

At Grand Forks Air Force Base, construction begins next spring on the upcoming Nathan Twining Elementary & Middle School! This K-8 project brings hands-on, flexible learning neighborhoods for future-ready STEM programming alongside high-performance design that serves as a sustainable teaching tool for students. Who's ready for fall and college football? 🏈 The DakotaDome renovation at University of South Dakota required a phased master plan for the 40-year-old multi-purpose stadium that upgraded team spaces, increased seating to 10,000, and added premium fan amenities. Future work phases will include new front entry, team store, updated branding, USD Hall of Fame, and upgrades to all other team spaces.
