Improving our members’ health through comprehensive, personalized weight care
About us
Found is an evidence-based weight care platform pioneering integrated support through personalized clinical guidance, expert coaching, online community, and if indicated, prescription medication. We are one of the largest telehealth weight loss clinics in the U.S. having served 250K+ members. We believe that weight care is complex and goes beyond having the willpower to eat less and move more. We believe in the power of biology, genetics, sleep, stress, mental health and daily habits and we work with each factor to achieve long-lasting results. Our goals are to address the long-term risks associated with ineffective weight management, to reimagine the narrow and outdated cultural narrative around weight, and to empower our community with tools that will help them find self-acceptance and add years to their lives.

Reporting live from Employee Benefit News' #BenefitsAtWork 🎤 Day one was filled with inspiring conversations focused on optimizing benefits strategies with the employee experience in mind. #Obesity care is a critical piece of the benefits puzzle, and with the right partner, employers can unlock a path to better health for employees. ”No decision on weight care, is a decision—culturally we are getting to a point where we recognize obesity as a disease. It may be challenging to quantify the impact of healthier employees, but what matters most is that we do something to prevent them from developing comorbidities or needing surgery,” said Dr. Jon Larson, Medical Director at Found during a panel discussion on managing employees’ demand for weight loss drugs. Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rekha Kumar, M.D, M.S., spoke with Vogue about the rising trend of supplements being marketed as "natural GLP-1s" or "Ozempic alternatives" – and what consumers should know. This trend is also contributing to the growing demand for weight loss drugs, putting an emphasis on why expert clinical guidance is critical when thinking about partnering with a weight care solution as an employer or health plan. Celebrities aren’t doctors. I spoke with Margaux Anbouba at Vogue to make it clear that: 🛑 I'm deeply concerned about the recent trend of supplements being marketed as "natural GLP-1s" or "Ozempic alternatives." 💊 Supplements ≠ Pharmaceutical GLP-1s. While some plant compounds may indirectly influence GLP-1 pathways or mimic some GLP-1 effects, healthy fats like wild salmon or avocado and soluble fiber could do the same thing. 👩⚕️Medical decisions should be guided by qualified healthcare professionals – Found is ready to help. New research suggests that nearly 60% of patients on GLP-1s stop treatment within 3 months–well before they’re able to see all of the potential benefits. Medication adherence, cost, and unclear ROI are among the many reasons employers are cautious about providing coverage for this class of drugs, but weight care doesn't have to rely on them. Alternative anti-obesity medications (AOMs) are paving a path for employers actively working to improve employees' health while enabling them to control costs. We sat down with Dr. Rekha Kumar, M.D, M.S., Chief Medical Officer, for a Q&A to gain insights into GLP-1 prescribing, AOMs, cost-containment strategies, and more.
