Mental Health Care

Expanding access to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy by empowering mental health professionals, starting with KAP.

About us

Journey Clinical is on a mission to transform the growing mental health crisis by accelerating the adoption of frontier treatments that lead to lasting improvements in clinical outcomes. We have built a turnkey healthtech platform to safely and effectively expand access to a powerful modality known as Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, starting with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). In our patient-centered collaborative care model, licensed psychotherapists in the network take on the psychotherapy, while Journey Clinical's in-house medical team takes on patient eligibility, treatment plan and outcome monitoring. Journey Clinical’s platform gives psychotherapists passionate about PAP the infrastructure and support required to become empowered KAP providers, while enabling higher standards of patient care and enhanced clinical outcomes. If you are a licensed psychotherapist, interested patient or supporter of lasting mental health and wellbeing, we invite you to join us.

Today, on #WorldMentalHealthDay, we raise awareness and advocate for the millions living with mental health challenges worldwide. Mental illness is one of the most pressing public health crises of our time — as 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year, according to NAMI. Despite growing awareness, stigma remains a significant barrier for many. At Journey Clinical, we’re committed to expanding access to transformative, evidence-based treatments like Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to address this crisis. Our collaborative care model allows patients to work with their trusted psychotherapists, receive personalized treatment plans, and experience the highest quality of comprehensive care possible for better clinical outcomes. Today, and every day, we work to break the stigma and prioritize mental health for all.

“Through offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I’ve seen that ketamine has provided gentle entry for clients that could not otherwise tolerate trauma work.” Journey Clinical KAP Provider, Heidi Dalzell, PsyD, is one of the most active and valued contributors to our online members-only forum, where she consistently offers guidance, support, and expert advice to our community of over 2,500 psychotherapists. We sat down with her to discuss how she has integrated KAP in her practice for our latest member feature. Thank you, Heidi, for being such an integral part of our community! As September comes to a close, we want to commemorate World Suicide Prevention Month – a time to raise awareness, break the stigma, and extend support to those who may be struggling. According to NAMI, 46% of people who die by suicide had a diagnosed mental health condition — but research suggests that 90% may have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Journal Clinical’s mission is to expand access to innovative, evidence-based mental health treatments to millions of people across the U.S. Many of our KAP providers, like Meredith Futernick-Gerak, LPC, ACS, CPAT, CBSP work with patients that struggle with hard-to-treat conditions, such as treatment-resistant depression and C-PTSD. This month, we thank them for the incredible work that they do within their communities.
