Fort Worth Report met with several medical professionals in Tarrant County to delve into an important discussion on maternal health. During the discussion, they explored the root causes, discussed current efforts to address the issue, and considered ways to improve maternal health in the future. This conversation sparked many insightful thoughts and provided essential information to raise awareness. JPS was honored to be a sponsor and have our very own Chair of Women and Infants, Dr. Stephanie Carson-Henderson, share her perspective on how we, as a community, can assist our mothers. The discussion on maternal mortality rates is crucial for understanding how we can work together to support mothers during childbirth because many mothers face this challenge more frequently than acknowledged. Our Facilities Engineering team consists of plumbers, HVAC technicians, locksmiths, electricians, maintenance mechanics, and power plant mechanics, who all work together to ensure the safety of our patients and team members.
