Advocating for all students of Life

Yesterday we had the pleasure of showcasing Junior Achievement of South Florida's programs to local schools and community partners. Through innovative programs such as our 8th grade JA Finance Park we are changing the way students are exposed to Career Exploration - exciting them about their future jobs through technology and hands on learning. Offering schools programs where students can practice what they are learning outside of the classroom only increases student engagement and we are here to support ALL schools in Broward County and South Palm Beach. Thank you to Somerset Parkland Academy, Charter Schools USA, Guidepost Montessori, Nova Leadership Academy, Madelaine Halmos Academy, Guidepost Academy, Renaissance Charter Schools at Pines, ABUNDANT LIFE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, St Bernadette Catholic School for attending. Today, our Junior Achievement of South Florida Career Bound students from Hallandale High School and McArthur High School had the incredible opportunity to learn about various careers in sports from our friends Troy Drayton, MBA and Seth Levit of the Jason Taylor Foundation! The Jason Taylor Careers in Sports Network is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in their school’s athletic department through five key pillars. Our students are currently collaborating with the organization under the Pillar of Event Management, where they’ve been challenged to plan an event for their high school’s athletic department. This project will allow them to showcase their creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. We are thrilled to see their hard work come to life in April! #JRACHIEVEMENT #CAREERBOUND #JTFOUNDATION #BUSINESSCASECHALLENGE #COLLABORATION #CAREERSINSPORTS
