Kids in the Kitchen is an AJLI-wide initiative to share information about healthy food choices. The JLC brings this to life via a partnership with the Renaissance West Community Initiative. With a league-wide focus on the health and wellbeing of children, a healthy diet fuels bodies and minds. How does the JLC help to support ShermCo at Reid Park Academy's Mission? Reid Park Academy serves a large number of students and needs volunteers to support the logistical operations. ShermCo provides various events and training throughout the school year that supports the students and their families. Members of The Junior League of Charlotte provide the operational support needed to help these events succeed. #JLC #JLCharlotte

SchermCo is a national social-impact implementation firm that offers strategic advising, organizational development, and implementation services to schools and education-focused organizations that support underserved communities. Please join us in welcoming our new Member Services Manager Elise! 👏👏 She started with us this past Monday and we are SO EXCITED to have her join our office team along side Cindy! Elise comes to us from Big Brothers Big Sisters where she was a Program Coordinator in Cabarrus County. Elise is originally from Massachusetts but has been a Charlotte resident for 28 years. She enjoys being an empty nester with her husband Jonathan while their 2 children are in college (Benjamin at UNC Charlotte and Natalie and UNC Chapel Hill). She enjoys traveling ✈️, hiking 🥾, the mountains ⛰️, the beach 🏖️, boating 🚤 on Badin Lake, and eating out. She has a large family and loves spending time with them and her close friends. #JLC #JLCharlotte
