I started Sailes because I wanted to take all my career experience and channel it into a container I could create from. I knew that if I gave it real purpose and real meaning - with the mission of solving a real problem - the company would grow to hold a meaning of its own for all that it touched. I didn't realize it then, but it sounds a lot like creating life. My little Helen has already brought so much meaning and purpose into my world...and those sleepless nights are a real problem! I can't even imagine what Helen will grow into because I'm too busy enjoying one moment at a time. Will she grow into a Future Founder? Probably. Right now I'm just trying to get her to grow into these epic gifts from Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs KCRise Fund and Lewis & Clark Ventures

Great day in #kansascity at the groundbreaking for the $125M replacement of Barney Allis Plaza. This has been a long day coming for the City. I’m proud of our team at McCownGordon Construction for partnering with HOK and LM2 CONSTRUCTION and staying committed to this project for so long.
