After days of exhausting work responding to the devastating impacts of Helene, many of our emergency crews are pivoting to assist Florida as Hurricane Milton makes landfall tonight. Once again, we thank our crews for their perseverance to answer the call as some of them haven’t been home in days or weeks. Many of our team members are storm victims themselves as they hail from the same communities hit hard by these recent hurricanes. Kendall's crews remain committed, dedicated and ever diligent in their important work. Thank you for your unwavering efforts. Stay safe and vigilant! 📸National Weather Service

  • As Kendall crews work hard to clear trees and restore power, other team members are also kicking into high gear – volunteering to deliver much needed aid to communities in need. Over the past week, the team has: • Transported and delivered trailers worth of critical supplies • Employed heavy equipment and cleared temporary roadways to cut-off communities • Partnered with Atlantic Infrastructure Solutions to send amphibious vehicles and aid in search and rescue operations Unfortunately, many other communities will be impacted by Hurricane Milton over the next several days. Once it’s safe, our amazing crews will support restoration efforts in Florida as well.

  • Hurricane Helene has brought historical devastation to the Southeast, crippling critical infrastructure. The overwhelming response has been historical as well; this is certainly true for Kendall. Since the storm made landfall, we have deployed more than 1,000 employees to support impacted communities -- it’s our largest mobilization effort to date. These dedicated men and women are doing everything they can to remove downed trees and limbs to help restore electricity to the cities, towns, and neighborhoods ravished by this storm. It’s very hard, often dangerous work. We thank ALL crew members working tirelessly to support our utility clients and their customers during these challenging times. • We wanted to take a moment to share a heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of Kendall crew members on the front lines supporting our utility partners to restore power, often under challenging conditions. We are proud of your hard work and commitment to helping those affected by the hurricane, whether in your own communities or several states away – thank you! We also thank our Central Office and Fleet Support teams who are working around the clock to ensure those crews have the resources they need to do their jobs effectively, get much needed rest, and most importantly, come home safely. Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to the families whose unwavering support make it possible for our employees to focus on the task at hand, particularly for field crews often far from home. 📸Crews in Clayton, GA and Nicholasville, KY clearing trees downed by Hurricane Helene
