KVD proud of the Planning and Approval of the Black Oaks mixed-use development in Clarksville, TN with Christian Innovative Enterprises, LLC. The specific goal of the master plan/visioning plan was to highlight pedestrian access of the site and overall community walkability, including providing opportunities for organized pedestrian network, common open spaces/streetscapes and trail connectivity. The master plan has been designed to be flexible providing opportunities for multiple uses within an organized street network which should serve as a vision to guide development of the site. The pedestrian friendly development shall deliver a curated environment of an eclectic mix of local and national tenants to the citizens of Clarksville. The place will become a community hub for working, shopping, living, and entertainment. Please reach out if interested in developing within this project.

We are excited to announce the addition of another Landscape Designer to the KVD team! Join us in welcoming Taylor Lacy to the Kiser Vogrin team. Taylor hails from Louisville, Kentucky, and is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky's Landscape Architecture program. Her journey into Landscape Architecture has been fueled by a deep fascination with how people experience their environment and a passion for transforming spaces. Taylor's resume includes internships with Lord Aeck Sargent and Walt Disney Imagineering, where she honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the delicate balance between aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Outside the office, Taylor loves to explore Nashville, savoring the culinary delights of Tennessee and attending live music events with friends. Her vibrant personality and dedication to her craft make her a fantastic addition to our team. Exciting times ahead in Nashville’s SoBro neighborhood as Mortenson breaks ground on the new Motto by Hilton Downtown Hotel! KVD is thrilled to be a part of turning this mid-block site into a vibrant and innovative space, contributing to the dynamic energy of downtown Nashville. With sustainability as a Motto brand focus, this compact site features 260 micro-hotel rooms that deliver guests what they need in a more environmentally friendly footprint. Boasting a 600 SF green roof and permeable concrete pavers in the drive isle, the hotel will be able to mitigate and treat stormwater on site. It was a beautiful day earlier this week at Harlinsdale Farm as we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new pedestrian bridge!
