Lately, on the blog and more >> The Other Side of the Mirror: A Cultural Celebration Connecting San Antonio and Querétaro << This project feels personal. All parts are a unique insight to our identity as Mexican-Americans, especially living in Texas. It is a more in depth look at ourselves through a new lens of history. The Other Side of the Mirror is exactly that—a reflection of what happens when two cultures come face to face, each seeing themselves in the other’s stories, colors, and history. This is the story of how the missions connect two cities in more ways than one. It has multiple arts: an art exhibit in Querétaro, Mexico; a cultural exchange program, AND a documentary series airing on KLRN this month. LEARN MORE: - Read all about it on quemeanswhat.com AND click on the links to my interviews with Antonio Arelle, Director at the Museo de Arte de Querétaro and Lilly Argaiz, a San Antonio College student who participated in the cultural exchange program. - Watch the docuseries on KLRN on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. (and then on YouTube after that) https://lnkd.in/g8n7EA-6 #Partner #TheOtherSideofTheMirror #AlOtroLadodelEspejo #MexicanAmerican #ArtAndHistory #SanAntonioTX #Queretaro Our Community Inc., LLC (OCI Group)

Today, I had the privilege of joining Randy Beamer on KLRN "On the Record." We had a great conversation about the importance of having a professional development coach, the insights gained from my travels, and the process of rightsizing. Grateful for the opportunity to share these experiences and how they help shape our efforts to strengthen education in San Antonio ISD! The show will air Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
