Please help us congratulate this month's service award recipients, Sarah Khalida Mohamad and Amy Miller, for their incredible work at KQED! 🎉 As an Audience Engagement Producer, Sarah has contributed amazing reporting, engagement, and design work for the KQED Science team. She’s expanded her skills greatly in the past 5 years, and it has been amazing to see how much she has done in this role. Amy has held four different jobs at KQED for 17 years here. Still, in her five years as Director of Video Production and Distribution, she has helped the digital video department innovate production workflows, evolve content strategies, and create new distribution opportunities for KQED video to expand onto new platforms and reach new audiences.

Congratulations to our service awards recipients of July! 🎉 We're celebrating four employees who have each reached 5 years at KQED. Please join us in congratulating them: Lakshmi Sarah, Digital Media Producer, News: Lakshmi provides important contributions to KQED's newscast, digital and social teams, and she has reported and produced for KQED's award-winning reparations project. Sarah Augusta, Patron Events Producer, Development: Sarah is dedicated to ensuring that our major donors deepen their connection to KQED by crafting engaging events that provide them with opportunities to gain a better understanding of KQED’s work as well as our community impact. Saul Gonzalez, Program Host, News: Saul is the eyes and ears for The California Report in Southern California. He has a unique viewpoint of news, particularly in telling stories from the perspective of listeners. He’s just as comfortable talking with newsmakers as he is a person he encounters when he’s out and about in Los Angeles. Saul’s stories add plenty of flavor and sound from where he’s reporting, bringing listeners to that scene. DeMareia Sanders, IT Support Administrator and Analyst, IT: Dee's charismatic approach to IT support means he not only fixes your problem but does it with a smile. He is a sought out colleague across KQED and a cornerstone of help desk. Background photo by Jason O'Rear.
