Join us November 9-11 as we commemorate 100 years of the Legion of Honor and kick off a year of special programming. Our celebratory weekend features an incredible and diverse group of local organizations, including: SMARTBOMB Cake Picnic Tarts de Feybesse ARTivate San Francisco Ballet And, more! Throughout the year, there will be newly commissioned performances and screenings, including an outdoor evening showing of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic “Vertigo,” filmed at the Legion of Honor (IYKYK). Our Free Saturdays program provides free general admission to the museum and centennial programs for all Bay Area residents throughout the year. Nearly 60 years after The Beatles performed their final concert at Candlestick Park, Beatlemania is back in the Bay 🎸 We are so excited to announce that “Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm” will be coming to the de Young! “Eyes of the Storm” will present more than 250 personal photos by Paul McCartney, along with video clips and archival materials. These images capture a period from December 1963 through February 1964 when The Beatles performed in concert halls across England and toured in the United States.
