English below: La Fiscal de Distrito del Condado de Sonoma, Carla Rodriguez, se reunió con el personal de La Luz la semana pasada para hablar sobre su nueva iniciativa: el robo de salarios a los trabajadores. Rodriguez explicó que el robo de salarios incluye el pago por debajo del salario mínimo, violaciones de horas extras, deducciones ilegales, trabajo fuera del reloj, violaciones en los recibos de pago, violaciones de las pausas para comer y descansar, violaciones a los empleados con propinas, recibos de pago inexactos y violaciones en el cheque de pago final. Sonoma County District Attorney Carla Rodriguez met with La Luz staff last week to discuss her newest initiative – worker wage theft. Rodriguez explained that wage theft includes payment less than the minimum wage, overtime violations, illegal deductions, off the clock work, pay stub violations, meal and rest break violations, tipped employee violations, inaccurate pay stubs, and final pay check violations.
