As part of our on-going celebrations of Black History Month, we’re shining a light on a few members of our Black@LA28 Employee Resource Group and the incredible work they do every day across the organization. Please read on to hear about their contributions to the Games, their connections to our city, and the sports they love.     Gabrielle Clark Title: Director, Strategy & Operations   Role: Gabbie designs systems, tools, and processes that streamline planning across 45+ venues, collaborating with 20+ functional areas to bring the Games to life. Since 2020, she’s worked across strategic planning, business integration, venue infrastructure, event management, ticketing, and hospitality—driving impact and excellence at every stage.  Ties to LA: UCLA alum, go Bruins!  Favorite Olympic or Paralympic Sport: Athletics and Wheelchair Basketball    Corine Taylor  Title: Senior Manager, Community Relations  Role: With LA28 since the initial bid, Corine builds relationships throughout the LA community and identifies opportunities to engage local neighborhoods, organizations and Angelenos in 2028 Games planning. She advances LA28’s impact in areas of youth sport, economic empowerment, and healthy environments by bringing the LA28 brand to life at local community engagements across the LA area.  Ties to LA: Proud Angeleno, born and raised in South LA  Favorite Olympic or Paralympic Sport: Wheelchair Basketball    Tiffani T.   Title: Vice President, Talent & Workforce  Role: Tiffani plays a pivotal role in delivering excellence to the Games by ensuring LA28 has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. She leads workforce planning, organizational design, and workforce development, creating strategies that empower the LA28 team to thrive and deliver on the world’s biggest stage. In honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we’re recognizing one of Play LA's participants, Arelle Middleton! At just 16 years old, Arelle made her first Paralympic team at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, making her one of the youngest members of Team USA where she went on to win her first medal in the Women’s Shot Put F64! #LA28 #NGWSD City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks

Introducing the newest cohort of LA28’s Athlete Fellows! We are so excited to welcome 7 Olympians featuring Tracy Eisser, OLY (Rowing), Scott Burcham, OLY (Baseball), Mariah Bell (Figure Skating), Jess Parratto, OLY (Diving), Giancarla Trevisan (Athletics), Anicka Delgado, OLY (Swimming), and Lauren Doyle (Rugby). Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome Olympic Gymnast and Athlete Commission member, Nastia Liukin, as our newest Ambassador Fellow for this upcoming year. The LA28 Fellowship Program is breaking new ground by embedding athletes into daily business operations. For the first time, an Organizing Committee is creating meaningful career development opportunities while empowering retired athletes to make a lasting impact.
