LWS is a supportive community of female identifying and non-binary strategists who lift one another up
About us
We all need a community to succeed: to find opportunities, get support and steerage, and to collectively celebrate our wins. Universally, industry networks create a path to opportunities and foster career growth. More often than not, these formal and informal groups are set up by and unequally stacked towards men. For women, progression becomes harder without access or inclusion to those crucial networks. Our solution is to nourish and help to grow friendships for women and non-binary strategists. We aim to warm up lives and lift up each other’s careers. We do this by creating moments to genuinely connect. These moments happen with membership to a supportive community: a thriving slack group, gatherings that encourage real friendships, and opportunities to share expertise and experiences. Advertising Week was an absolute slammer of an event all around, but for Ladies Who Strategize it was supremely ✨ MAGICAL ✨ We hosted a community track gathering yesterday and after a quick LWS 101 everyone exploded with conversations and laughter. The turnout was massive, our tech crew said it was the best attended event all day. Feedback was above and beyond, a couple new friends grabbed me afterwards and said it was the highlight of the entire conference for them. I am grateful to Ruth Mortimer and the entire Advertising Week team for their generosity to extend delegate passes to our Members and for their incredible support of LWS.
