Our SUPER BOWL issue is hereeee 🏈🏈🏈 Cast your mind back to 2006. Apple’s iPhone hadn’t been released yet, YouTube was new on the scene, and Facebook and MySpace were the largest social media platforms. Yet despite the nascent state of the social internet, Frito-Lay’s Doritos was ready to hand the reins of its #SuperBowl ad over to creators with its Crash the Super Bowl contest. Now, after a hiatus, Crash the Super Bowl is BACK for Super Bowl 59, and creators have shaped the marketing of numerous brands. So what's the value of the contest in the creator era? AI coworkers are becoming a reality: AI startup MarkeTeam.ai has employed AI agents to replicate marketing tasks for SMBs, showcasing the power of AI in the workforce. A year ago, the company created LinkedIn profiles for its five AI agents, with the goal of demonstrating their capabilities and attracting potential clients seeking AI-driven talent. However, this week, LinkedIn removed all five profiles, citing policy violations. MarkeTeam views this as a sign of a larger disconnect between platform policies and the rapidly shifting role of AI in the workplace. “Removing our AI agents’ profiles from LinkedIn highlights a disconnect between platform policies and the reality of the future of work,” Naama Manova-Twito, CEO and cofounder told ADWEEK.

This week, LinkedIn removed all five of its AI-generated ‘coworkers’ profiles, citing policy violations. MarkeTeam.ai, an AI startup behind the profiles, sees the move as a broader disconnect between the policies of platforms and the rapidly evolving role of AI in the workplace. “Removing our AI agents’ profiles from LinkedIn highlights a disconnect between platform policies and the reality of the future of work,” Naama Manova-Twito, CEO and cofounder of MarkeTeam, told ADWEEK. https://adweek.it/40UKA5S
