Recently, our team came together for an incredible Leadership and Risk Management Training Retreat at the stunning Bent Creek Farm. The day was filled with learning, growth, and of course, delicious food! A huge thank you to our speaker, Eric Sanderson, who has been a trusted advisor to our company for many years. Eric shared valuable insights into the construction industry, teamwork, and how we can all contribute to making our organization even stronger. We dove deep into recognizing risks, enhancing our team collaboration, and focused on asking ourselves, "Are we getting better?" Plus, we learned how following the right processes ensures consistency and success for the entire team! From a hearty breakfast to an incredible lunch catered by Spears Acres, LLC., it was a day of bonding and building together. Here's to many more opportunities to learn, grow, and improve as a team!

Our summer interns worked closely with their mentors, gaining hands-on experience and insights into the intricacies of our industry. Matthew from Clemson University discovered the extensive work involved in grading for a new building. Aden from The Citadel was grateful for the opportunity to earn his OSHA 30 certification, though he says this experience has made his career decision more challenging because he especially liked the time he spent on Project Management training. Zane from Western Carolina University was impressed by Langston's stringent safety regulations and procedures. And Rebecca from Presbyterian College expressed that the internship greatly enhanced her organizational skills, practical office abilities, and provided valuable knowledge that you can't find in a textbook. Her favorite part, she says, was the great people she had the opportunity to work with. Thank you for your insightful contributions and for being an integral part of our team this summer.
