We are thrilled to announce that yesterday we received over $1.6 Million to expand the LCC and create a future-focused Youth Center for our Latine students! 🎉🌟 This center will bring the latest technology and training to our students, helping them explore careers and prepare for their future. 💻 Thank you to Senator Costa for your friendship and support of our Latino community. With this support, we are 90% to our goal of $2 Million! 🚀 Thank you to everyone who has been part of this process... especially our youth! 🙌 The future is BRIGHT! ☀️✨

We were honored to be the first organization of the year to host United Way donors as part of their special tours. Through this tour, donors had the chance to see firsthand the transformative work we are doing and learn how we are helping to change lives. Last week the Latino Community Center was awarded the Rising Star Award by Highmark Bright Blue Futures 💙 for our work with Community Health Workers (Promotoras). 250 nominations were received and the top 10 were selected for this honor. The award means so much because I see how dedicated and hard our team works each and every day… I read the testimonials that come through from families to them, I see the impact of how they are addressing isolation amongst new parents, and I see how our babies are getting the early intervention they need to support them in their life long journey. This moment helped raise awareness of the women doing the work and their fearless leader Vicky. Plus- it’s HIGHMARK! 💙 Latino Community Center
