Clients fall into one of 3 buckets of experience. They're either pleased, indifferent, or underwhelmed. Here are 6 takeaways from a study by PwC to guide you. 1. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹. Great experiences are tangible: up to a 16% price premium on products and services, plus increased loyalty. 2. 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆. One in three consumers (32%) say they will walk away from a brand they love after just one bad experience. 3. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗱𝗼’𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. Speed, convenience, helpful employees, and friendly service matter most, each hitting over 70% in importance to clients. 4. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲. Human interaction matters now—and 82% of U.S. and 74% of non-U.S. clients want more of it in the future. 5. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. What matters most to all generations surveyed holds true for Gen Z, too. 6. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. 54% of U.S. consumers say client experience at most companies needs improvement. Figure out how to get your team to deliver more smiles and your laundromat will stand out like a cow on a chicken farm. 🏴☠️✌️

🚀 The Perfect Recipe for Success: Reflecting on the First Annual Laundry CEO Forum (Aug 7th-9th) 🚀 Have you ever had a filet mignon steak seasoned just right on the very first try? 🍴 That's exactly what Waleed Cope and Jessica Johnson-Cope achieved with their inaugural Laundry CEO Forum! 🔥 One quote perfectly captures the essence of this event: "A rising tide lifts all ships." 🌊 The innovators and leaders who gathered at this conference are truly the ones pushing the laundromat industry to new heights. Here’s why this conference was a total game-changer: 🌟 Everything’s Bigger in Texas: Held at the Omni Frisco Hotel, right next to the Dallas Cowboys’ indoor facility, attendees flew in from all over the country to be part of this epic event. 💼 Excellence at Every Turn: Imagine this—leather lounge chairs, lattes on tap, and a dessert bar during every break. The organizers ensured that comfort and class were the standard! 🎤 Top-Tier Speakers: The conference covered a wide range of topics, from industry-specific insights to business growth, marketing strategies, tech innovations, and even using success to give back. To list just a few of these top-tier speakers included: - Brian Wallace: President/CEO of the Coin Laundry Association - Marcus Sheridan: Best-selling author of They Ask, You Answer, a book on sales/marketing - James Keyes: Former CEO of 7-Eleven and author of Education is Freedom - Nishant Jain: CEO of Presso 🌎 Who’s Who in the Industry: The event brought together aspiring laundromat owners and industry innovators, setting new standards and changing the game. To list just a few that shared/spoke included: - Ross Dodds: Luxe Laundries - Daniel Yoon: LaundryLux - Alaa El Banna: Bubbles aRe Us Laundromat - Stephanie Fry and John Fry: LaundroLab 👥 Customer Experience Focus: A major theme of the forum was the importance of customer experience. When done right, it drives innovation and fosters loyalty that sets you apart from competitors. Being part of the Magazine Jukebox team means I get to collaborate with professionals who are serious about elevating customer experiences. It was truly inspiring to be in a room full of like-minded individuals. I even had the pleasure of meeting some operators who have already integrated Magazine Jukebox into their customer experience strategy! 👍 #Leadership #CustomerExperience #LaundromatIndustry #Innovation #BusinessGrowth #MagazineJukebox

César patiently gave tour after tour for group after group showing us the hotel laundry facilities. He also spoke at a session explaining what he looks for in partnering with a commercial laundry vendor. Thank you so much for your time and attention!!! We really appreciated it!!! 👏👏👏

The Laundry CEO Forum was more than an amazing event. It was a showcase of topics and discussion that made participants comfortable to get uncomfortable. Routine sounding topics were covered in more depth and detail. There was very little "fluff" in a business known to "fluff" and fold. (dad humor). I presented on water. A topic that is seemingly mundane, rarely talked about, but is at the forefront of every laundromat that uses water to wash clothes. It's not sexy. Yet, it is a topic every laundry owner must come to grips with. Water is a BIG part of the business but very few owners understand the inner working of the business. All the speakers brought depth and an entrepreneurial dimension to topics that ranged from building brands, business analytics using real data, and customer experience to building trust. Each showing that the laundry business is better today than ever, and the future is even brighter. Looking to the past and reinventing the past is not development claimed one of the speakers. He challenged us to improve ourselves and reach out for change that will be impactful to our industry in the future that has not been done before. The conference was titled "Fueling Economic Growth In Garment Care." For those in attendance, there were many opportunities to see how to increase business to our stores through tried-and-true methods, as well as inventing new processes (which at least two speakers have done). Yes, Laundry CEO Forum did provide a forum that encouraged more comradery, networking, learning, and knowledge amongst its participants. Jessica Johnson-Cope and Waleed Cope 🏴☠️ deserve a round of applause for sponsoring this next-level event. Laundry CEO Forum was impactful to me for three reasons. 1) I came away with many nuggets of information that I know will propel my business. 2) It created a higher level of creative thinking about business and laundry (services and process). 3) There was virtually no time wasted. I am proud to have been chosen as one of the speakers for this inaugural event and truly hope that my contribution gave others their nuggets for "water".

What a conference week at the Laundry CEO Forum! It was a great opportunity to connect with new and experienced laundry professionals and exchange ideas and insights. Congratulations to Waleed Cope 🏴☠️ and Jessica Johnson-Cope for organizing such a fantastic event. I had the chance to share about Hamperapp's mission of expanding laundry and dry cleaning services across the USA and globally. At the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star, I got an exclusive look at their behind-the-scenes operations, observing how they manage and outsource their linen daily. Throughout the week, I had enlightening discussions with numerous individuals, including Brian Wallace, Saichelle McNeill, John Fry, Trish Lindo, Marcus Sheridan, Mark Vlaskamp, and many more. It was a valuable experience, learning from industry leaders and sharing our vision for the future of laundry services. #LaundryCEOFroum #Networking #IndustryLeaders #LaundryInnovation
