Just been walking in my purpose and I think that’s beautiful🎙️ Another speaking engagement in the books! I feel beyond blessed that I’m able to align my two passions of education & public speaking in a way that feels so natural to me. Thank you to my amazing friend Genesis Duran along with her team at The Lawrence Partnership George A. Ramirez as well as the Merrimack Valley Small Business Coalition for allowing me to share my knowledge on marketing and AI with the community at Northern Essex Community College. I was joined alongside some great speakers who even taught me some new tricks! Eloisa Marquez-Gonzalez, Jose Tovar, Abel Vargas, Javier Borrero. It was heartwarming to be reunited with familiar faces like my previous team from We Are ALX, Josefa Elena Arriagada Saieh of TDI Mass Development, the EforAll and EparaTodos Merrimack Valley team and my dearest Wendy Estrella! It’s so wonderful that these resources are being shared to help our entrepreneurial community succeed. I encourage you to stay adaptable, do things that make you uncomfortable and tap into the tools that are out there to help you win. Media credits to Mike Dean Photos

Earlier this month, the Merrimack Valley Small Business Coalition, including event organizers EforAll and EparaTodos Merrimack Valley, Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF), Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC), MassDevelopment, and The Lawrence Partnership, hosted an event at Northern Essex Community College (NECC) on the power of AI in business. Emceed by Sophan S., ED of EforAll/EparaTodos MV, and George A. Ramirez, ED of the Lawrence Partnership, the event began with AI expert Jose Tovar, who introduced attendees to AI and its practical applications. Keynote speaker Eloisa Marquez-Gonzalez, CEO and founder of Walking Tree, followed with an insightful talk on sustainable business growth and how AI drives efficiency and innovation. A highlight of the evening was the panel discussion featuring Abel Vargas (Valley Home Insulation LLC), Cristal Delgado (Marketing Consultant & Creative Director), and Javier Borrero (Borrero Photography & Marketing Solutions), moderated by LP Staff Associate Genesis Duran. Panelists shared real-world experiences on how AI helps streamline operations, enhance marketing, and free up time for high-priority tasks. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with local organizations at resource tables including We Are ALX, Nectar Community Investments, and Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), and participate in a special giveaway. Thanks to TEK Collaborative, the first 25 attendees had the opportunity to win a free Chromebook to support their continued learning. A big thank you to our speakers, panelists, vendors, and partners for making this event a success! As AI continues shaping the future of business, we look forward to more opportunities for learning and collaboration in our community. Stay tuned for upcoming events! https://lnkd.in/eV74Syyk Photos: Mike Dean
