After taking the Parisian dining scene by storm, internationally acclaimed chef Daniel Rose returns to his home soil with Le Coucou, his New York City collaboration with restaurateur Stephen Starr. The Roman and Williams-designed space is a gracious modern nod to fine European gastronomy, with crisp linens, flickering candles and whitewashed brick serving as subtle framework for Rose’s vivid cooking. Updating classical French cuisine with charm and verve, Rose shrinks the intercontinental divide separating the City of Light and the Big Apple, proving that the true essence of fine French dining can thrive in any time zone.

Meet Reservationist Christelle - the voice behind Le Coucou reservations.✨ Born and raised in DR Congo, Kinshasa, she moved to the US in 2015 for academic and professional purposes. Before joining Le Coucou, she worked for six years at fine dining establishments and at high-end luxury hotels as a guest service agent. Hospitality came naturally to her, and she developed a genuine passion for the industry. She loves how supportive and friendly the team at Le Coucou is, saying the staff all work towards a common goal. Captured here with Maître D Elizabeth and Hostesses Fiona and Bianca. When not working, she enjoys volunteering, riding her bicycle, reading, hanging out with friends, or spending time in Paris. #WomensHistoryMonth #michelinstar #starrcareers #starrrestaurants
