Fascinating article by National Association of Plan Advisors on a recent IRS Private Letter Ruling that would potentially allow Employees to have discretion on how to allocate Employer Contributions across different Employee Benefit Programs (e.g. Retirement - 401(k), Healthcare - HRA & HSA, and Education - 127 Plan). Under this arrangement, as an Employer, you could stop having to design a 'one-size-fits-all' approach and simply provide a per employee budgeted contribution and give your Employees the choice to allocate that contribution based on their personal preferences. https://lnkd.in/d_vnqDau
