Our 2024 Community Justice Fellow is Samuel Reyes! Sam was previously a legal advocate in our Consumer Rights Project while attending the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas part time. He was inspired to go to law school to conquer structural and systemic barriers to effectuate change. We were so proud to see him graduate this past May and join us for this year-long fellowship! As part of the Community Justice Fellowship sponsored by Paul Padda Law, Sam is rotating through Legal Aid Center's project areas while learning valuable new skills. For more information about this program (and an application for the 2025 fellowship), click here: www.lacsn.org/cjfellowship

We partnered with Nevada Legal Services and placed over 30 pro bono cases during the 2024 Family Law Conference. Thank you so much to everyone who took on a new case at this wonderful event from the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada! We're also very grateful to all the judges who helped us, including Judge Henderson, Judge Gordon, Judge Rocheleau, and Judge McConnell.
