🌟 Rising Star 🌟 Every month staff nominate coworkers for the Rising Star of the Month by writing their name and the reason for the nomination on our Star Board. August's selected winner was Tammy Randolph! Tammy is an Administrative Assistant with the Meds Clinic. What her coworkers said about her: “Thank you for all of the extra OBRA scanning you do! I appreciate you!” “Thank you for always making sure I’m aware of changes in doctor schedules – much appreciated!” “Always welcoming and helpful when I am covering meds clinic!” What Tammy likes about working for LCMHA: “The camaraderie we have as co-workers inside and outside of the workplace. Hearing consumers come out of an appointment saying how much they appreciate our Dr.’s and staff is always heartwarming!” Tammy’s favorite thing to do in her free time: "Float at the lake with my family and friends." ☀ Intern Spotlight ☀ At LCMHA, we believe in investing in the next generation of clinicians. We are grateful for the opportunity to host interns, and we want to take a moment to celebrate them! Meet Logan! Logan graduated in 2024 with her Master's from the Kent School of Social Work Online program through University of Louisville. Her internship was through the LCMHA Access Department for the past year. What Logan learned from her internship: "I already had a background with LCMHA. Going into the internship, I was able to expand my knowledge on all of the “behind the scenes” work that is done by the Access department. I was also able to further my comfort level with populations that I have not worked with in the past." What Logan most enjoyed about her internship experience: "I really enjoy the team at LCMHA. Everyone is so welcoming and so easy to talk to. I always have so many questions and there was always someone around willing to assist me. I appreciated the supervisors throughout the agency pushing me to expand my knowledge on certain topics, as well." What can others expect from an internship? "LCMHA is a great step into the field! It can be overwhelming at first, however it’s such a great atmosphere and the jobs are so much fun. You can really gain a lot of experience and knowledge about the field in this internship."
