You're doing your product roadmapping wrong. Here's how to fix it: 1. Define your goals and initiatives. Is it new features, bug fixes, or marketing campaigns? 2. Prioritize and categorize the initiatives into 3 time frames: Now: Immediate priorities demanding current attention. Next: Short-term initiatives crucial for near-future success. Later: Long-term goals shaping the product's overall direction. Integrate with OKRs example... ➝OKR: Increase mobile app signups by 15%. ➝Now: Optimize app store listing. ➝Next: Implement a social login feature. ➝Later: Develop a gamified onboarding process. 2. Before optimizing your app store listing (Now), track current signups for a set period (week/month). This is your starting point. 3. As you implement changes (listing update, social login, gamified onboarding - Later), track relevant metrics for each stage: 📍 App Store Listing: Impressions, clicks, installs (increased = good!) 📍Social Login: Number of users signing up via social login, overall signup rate (increased = good!) 📍Onboarding (Later): Completion rate, user retention after onboarding (increased = good!) 4. Focus on what works (improve social login flow) and adjust the rest (refresh app store listing) Now you have a straightforward process to accelerate the product development process. No confusion. No significant feature delays. Just when you know how to prioritize your features. P.S. Found useful? Share it with your community. #saas #saasfounder #productdevelopment

Non-tech founder? Don't let tech hurdles block your startup dreams. For non-tech founders, finding their way into high-tech entrepreneurship can be like walking through a maze with no map. These can be your everyday dilemmas: - How can I build a high-tech product without a technical background? - Where do I find reliable partners and resources to execute my vision effectively? - How can I minimize financial risks while pursuing my startup goals in a fast-paced tech environment? Despite these challenges, building a successful tech startup is possible if you follow the correct roadmap. Here's the one: ✅ Iterative MVP Development: - Use a fast cycle for creating your MVP. - Aim to give value to customers quickly. - Improve features using what users tell you. - Use no-code/low-code tools to speed up making the product and keep costs low while checking if your product meets market needs. Once you have validated your idea through MVP, get a tech Co-Founder. Finding a technical co-founder is like looking for a partner. It needs time! Spend time with tech folks you know, share your vision, listen to theirs, and see who gets excited. Also, ask your friends to introduce you to the tech people they admire. Keep doing this with every new tech person you meet. Over time, you'll build an awesome tech network. You might find someone who just "fits." Remember, it's like a marriage, so look beyond coding skills. Here are some essential qualities to look for: 📍 They focus on what customers need, not just on cool tech. 📍They're confident they can build anything. 📍You can easily work together. 📍They know lots of other tech people. This helps in many ways. 📍They have a solid history of good tech work. There's a huge gap between "okay" and "great" in software development. It's tough to launch a product with an "okay" tech co-founder. By implementing this strategy and roadmap, you will be able to overcome tech challenges and grow your startup faster. P.S. What one quality do you look for in your tech Co-Founder? #techstartup #founder #Saas

1 Hack that helped me build a product roadmap efficiently. {Hint: It’s not building another feature} Hey, startup Founders, Tired of pouring resources into features that fail to deliver results? Let's cut through the noise and prioritize your product roadmap effectively. Your product roadmap may be overflowing with ideas, but not all features move the needle. It's time to distinguish between what's essential and what's merely noise. Enter the RICE model- a game-changer in product prioritization. Here's how it works: 1. Reach: Determine the potential user reach for each feature. How many users will benefit from this feature? 1000 users per month. 2. Impact: Evaluate the potential impact of each feature on users. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being a significant impact, how much value does this feature add? 3. Confidence: Assess the level of confidence in the success of each feature. High (100%), Medium (80%), Low (50%). 4. Effort: Estimate the resources required to implement each feature. How many person-weeks or person-months will it take to develop this feature? 3 person-months. Calculating the RICE Score: RICE Score = (Reach x Impact x Confidence) / Effort Example: For a feature with 1000 users, an impact rating of 4, 80% confidence, and requiring 3 person-months, the RICE score would be (1000 x 4 x 80%) / 3 = 1067. A higher RICE score indicates greater potential value relative to effort. By applying the RICE model, you can prioritize features that offer the most significant impact with the least effort. This approach ensures that your product roadmap aligns with your business objectives and user needs, driving maximum value for your investment. P.S.
