Registering to be an organ donor is a simple step that can lead to big impact! However, in the Upper Midwest only about half of men are currently registered, even though men make up 62% of the waiting list. Our new public awareness campaign tackles this issue, giving men a nudge & an easy way to register online. Help us change the statistics and increase the number of registered men today! Learn more at MenAreTheAnswer.org.

This year, we're honored to share that 322 new names were engraved on our Memorial Wall along with one garden bench to honor those who selflessly saved and healed lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. This is triple the inscriptions that were added last year! The Healing Garden is a welcoming space to honor those who have given the gift of life. It is accessible 24/7 at our Minneapolis headquarters, and you are welcome to visit at a time that is convenient for you. The memorial wall is also available digitally on our website with interactive images of each panel. If you submitted your loved one’s name to be inscribed on the LifeSource Memorial Wall, you can now view their engraving by clicking their name here: https://lnkd.in/dDGzCY6a Donor families whose loved one’s names were included in this year's engraving received an invitation to attend an unveiling ceremony to be held in the Healing Garden in early August.

In June, Nichole Salaam, Director of Equity and Engagement at LifeSource, attended a North Minneapolis event that focused on improving health outcomes within the African American community. She had the opportunity to share information about donation and engage in conversations with community members. Thank you to everyone involved for letting us be a part of this meaningful work!
