F.I.R.M. G.R.I.P. on our Values F - Family I - Integrity R - Respect M - Mutual Success (Win-Win) G - Gratitude R - Responsibility I - Intelligence P - Perseverance These are the values that we hold firm to at Lifestyle Medical. I just listened to The Table Group podcast episode by Patrick Lencioni that Values are Verbs. Which means values must be acted on or they aren't really values. Lots of times, we post pretty aspirations on the walls trying to capture the values. When I started Lifestyle Medical with my trusted friends, we searched deeply for what really made us tick and then we formed our values. We didn't want just pretty aspirations. We wanted something that captured us! The crazy thing is that as we headed down the road, we actually changed two of the original values (Greatness to Gratitude and Professionalism to Perseverance). Both things just "fit" better! I think a re-evaluation is important as you go. I feel our current 8 values capture who we really are today. I'm open to changing them in the future, if required, but, for now, I'm thinking about today! Give the episode a listen and determine what your CORE VALUES really are: https://lnkd.in/gfU8TZiW Onward!
